ABOUT ANITA

I am an artist who specializes in pastel landscapes and I also enjoy drawing and printmaking.  To me a perfect day is being outdoors in mild weather, drawing or painting what's in front of me while taking in the sounds and feel of my surroundings.  This is the feeling that I hope to convey in my paintings.

 

I have five children and five grandchildren (so far). I have taught middle school art for many years and love sharing my passion with both kids and adults.  I have degrees in art education and graphic design.

 

I have studied with many artists at workshops around the country and have had pastels accepted into a number of juried shows.
